Brett is a dedicated Physical Therapy provider who received his doctorate in Physical Therapy from South College Atlanta. He became a physical therapist because his older brother received a diagnosis of Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy. Brett spent a majority of his life helping with his day-to-day personal care which fostered his passion for the children he gets to work with and the families he gets to serve. This experience provided him with a unique insight to the family experience as well as with adaptive equipment recommendations.
Beett has worked in both the pediatric and adult world, giving him a broad spectrum of modality usage such as, ultrasound, cryotherapy, cupping, soft tissue work, joint mobilizations/manipulations. In addition, Brett has experience in a very unique setting. He is hippotherapy certified to utilize therapeutic equine movement as a way to treat individuals (both pediatric and adult) with a broad spectrum of both physical and psychological presentations.
In his free time he can be found in the saddle, if and when time permits, or at the gym. He competes nationally in Olympic weightlifting and has done so for the last 10 years.
