Whitney earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine and has more than 25 years of experience helping children reach their greatest potential. Throughout her career, she has worked with infants and toddlers in Early Intervention (birth to 3 years) as well as preschool and school-aged children with a wide range of developmental, neurological, and orthopedic diagnoses.
Whitney has training in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) and Pediatric Intensive/TheraSuit® therapy and enjoys incorporating these treatment principles into therapy sessions. She also has extensive experience evaluating, recommending, and ordering adaptive equipment and orthotics/splints to help children achieve functional goals and maximize independence.
Whitney is passionate about partnering with families and empowering caregivers with practical strategies they can use every day to support their child’s gross motor development. She believes that the best outcomes happen when therapy extends beyond the treatment session and becomes part of a child’s daily life.
Outside of her work as a pediatric physical therapist, Whitney enjoys spending time with her two daughters, musical theatre, jogging, and headshot photography.
